UPDATE: The City of Eastman issues a water boil advisory!

UPDATE (7/16 – 8:20 P.M.): All customers who receive water from the City of Eastman are now under a boil advisory “effective immediately and until further notice.”

“We will keep you updated as we receive new information,” the post stated.

ORIGINAL STORY (7/16 – 3:33 P.M.):

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A water main break on 11th Avenue on Tuesday left residents in the immediate area without water or experiencing low water pressure.

“Unfortunately, a water main was hit on 11th Avenue,” the post stated. “For those in the immediate area, you may be without water or experience low water pressure until we have repaired the line. We are currently working on this repair and will restore your water as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding!”
